Morning Ceremony - Graduate Programs from the Roueche Graduate Center
Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12 p.m.
ONLY Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs
10:00am-10:30am: Graduates arrive at the LBJ Auditorium for check in (Doors open for graduates and staff only). If you are not on time, you may forfeit your right to walk the stage. The ceremony will begin at 12:00 p.m.
10:30am-11:00am: Graduates begin lining up.
11:00am- 11:30am: Procession of graduate candidates begins.
12:00pm-2:00pm: Commencement ceremony begins (will be approximately 2 hours).
Afternoon Ceremony -Undergraduate Programs from Georgetown and Austin North Campus
Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:30 p.m.
ONLY Diploma, Associates, and Bachelor Degree Programs
2:30pm- 3:00pm: Graduates arrive at the LBJ Auditorium for check in (Doors open for graduates and staff only). If you are not on time, you may forfeit your right to walk the stage. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m.
3:00pm- 3:30pm: Graduates begin lining up.
3:30pm-4:00pm: Procession of graduate candidates begins.
4:00pm-6:00pm: Commencement ceremony begins (will be approximately 2 hours).
Graduates should arrive early for check-in. If you are not on time, you may forfeit your right to walk the stage.
Guests should arrive no more than 30 minutes before the commencement ceremony begins.
Services for Graduates with Disabilities
Degree candidates with disabilities who need accommodations to participate in their Commencement ceremony, are asked to contact their academic advisor, or send an email to email@example.com to discuss accommodation possibilities.
Accommodation requests must be made by Friday, June 1, 2018. While every effort will be made to make accommodations, the university may be unable to fulfill last-minute requests.
Info for Guests
Congratulations on your graduate's remarkable achievement of earning a college degree!
- Doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony will be held at the LBJ Auditorium.
- The ceremony should take approximately 2—2.5 hours.
- After the ceremony, please exit the auditorium to congratulate your graduate.
RSVP via EventBrite indicating how many guests will attend, as spacing is limited.
Noisemakers, Balloons, Flowers and Refreshments
No noisemakers, balloons, or outside refreshments will be allowed inside the LBJ Auditorium.

You are encouraged to wear dark shoes, since dark accessories have a more favorable appearance with the formal academic wear.

Directions and Parking
Directions to Lot 40 (General Parking, LBJ Auditorium)
Please note, parking in lot 40 is limited (241 spaces). If the lot fills, do not park in lots 38 or 39. The closest garage is the Manor Parking Garage (MAG), standard parking rates apply.
Coming from IH-35
Take the 32nd St. Exit and turn west at the light. Travel west on block on 32nd St. to Red River St. Turn left and travel south on Red River St. to the first light (26th/Dean Keeton). Proceed through the intersection and turn right into the first parking lot (Lot 40).
Coming from Austin Bergstrom International Airport
When leaving the airport, turn left Hwy 71 west. Stay in the right hand lanes and curve to the right onto Bastrop Hwy/US 183. Continue in the same lane as it crosses the bridge over the Colorado River. Continue in the same lane onto Airport Blvd. Stay on Airport Blvd. until the intersection with IH-35. Turn left onto the southbound IH-35 access road and process to 32nd St. Turn right onto 32nd St. Travel west 1 block on 32nd St. to Red River St. Turn left and travel south on Red River St. to the first light (26th/Dean Keeton St). Proceed through the intersection and turn right into the first parking lot (lot 40).

South of the TCC and LBJ Library on Robert Dedman, directly across the street from Darrell K Royal- Texas Memorial Stadium
San Jacinto Garage (SJG): 2401 San Jacinto Blvd – Garage fees will apply
San Jacinto Garage is between 24th and Dean Keeton (formerly 26th ) Streets.
Due to the high number of guests in attendance for the ceremony, heavy traffic congestion is anticipated in the LBJ/Downtown areas. Families are strongly advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Additional parking options are available in private lots or downtown parking garages.
